Mikhail Malinovsky in the new Expert Council for Sustainable Development of the Russian Environmental Operator

The new composition of the Expert Council includes Company executives, as well as industry experts, retail representatives, methodologists, bankers, etc.

On July 3, 2023, the Russian Environmental Operator formed the new Expert Council for Sustainable Development.

Mikhail Malinovsky, LECAP Partner and CEO, joined the new Expert Council.

The list of board members also includes executives from Sberbank, Sovcombank, PJSC Magnit, X5 Group, the Open Communications Expert Agency, Ecopolis Certification and Service LLC, the Association for the Promotion of the Circular Economy «Resource», the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts, JSC RSHB, the Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov, the Institute of Ecology of RUDN University, MGIMO Institute for International Trade and Sustainable Development, VEB Institute, DOM.RF JSC, DOM.RF Bank JSC, the Russian Ecological Operator.

The Expert Council for Sustainable Development was established on 7 July 2021 at the platform of the Russian Ecological Operator. It included Company executives, as well as industry experts, retail representatives, methodologists and bankers. Svetlana Bik, head of the Expert-Analytical Platform "Infrastructure and Finance for Sustainable Development", was appointed Chairman of the Council.

The main directions of the Council's work are the creation of methodologies and standards related to green finance in the waste management industry, as well as support for ESG-transformation of companies.
