On September 15, 2023, the LECAP team made a presentation to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where shared their experience and specifics of preparation and placement of structured bonds from the perspective of clients' needs. From LECAP's side speakers at the event were Dmitry Rumiantsev, LECAP Partner and CEO of LCPIS, bondholders' representative, and Ivan Makhalin, Counsel.
The presentation emphasized the reasons why clients choose certain types of underlying assets or their combination, calculation of transaction efficiency, possible costs and procedures.
Additionally, the LECAP team talked about examples of structured bond issuance abroad, possible new underlying assets and various regulatory options.
"Market development is a common task of the regulator and market participants. We have always willingly participated and will continue to participate in any training, public and non-public events aimed at improving and enhancing the instruments and the market," says Dmitry Rumiantsev.
