On February 29, a large-scale conference IPO-2024 was held at the Artcourt Moscow Center were organized by the information and analytical agency PREQVECA together with Cbonds-Congress. Topical issues of the IPO-market were discussed during the conference, Russian market difference from international market, changes of demand for public offerings, as well as forecasts and prospects for the development of the pre-Ipo and IPO market in Russia.
Ivan Makhalin, LECAP Partner, and Dmitry Rumyantsev, LECAP Partner and LCPIS Director, participated in the conference as speakers. As part of their speeches, the colleagues discussed new requirements and requests from clients and lead managers to a legal advisor to the process of IPO-preparation.
The main emphasis was placed on the importance of timely corporate procedures and lock-up agreements drafting and use of Ivan Makhalin gave a detailed presentation on the prospects of a new financial instrument considered as an alternative to pre-IPO - convertible bonds and options for issuance.
